Kid America injured
After receiving a spike piledriver from North American champion Greg
Spitz, and losing the Tag Team titles, Kid America lye motionless in the
ring. It took several men who needed to carry him out of the ring. Everyone's
thoughts have been with Kid America the last few hours and we can report
that he suffered some minor nerve damage in his neck as well as being rendered
unconscience. He is expected to make a full recovery in a few weeks.
Greg Spitz suspended
After his unwarranted attack on Kid America, and what could have been a
career ending maneuver, B4W officials have decided to suspend Greg Spitz
for the month of July. They feel by forcing him to miss two events and a
lot of money from those events and sponsorships, Spitz will learn his lesson.
B4W will continue to recognize Spitz as the North American champion, but
have warned him if he ever pulls another stunt like he did at International
Incident, they will not hesitate to strip him of the gold.
TLD walks out
After preparing for weeks to take out his former, Inner Circle teammates,
TLD walked out of his match on Saturday night. It appeared as though TLD
was going to knock Denver Street's head off his shoulders with a right hook,
but he could not pull himself to hit his former friend. He then walked out
of the match causing his partner Super Sweet to be counted out and eliminated
from the match. There is a much bigger story here than first appears.
Friction between Tommy Thunda and Steve Corino?
Earlier in the night Thunda approached Corino and finally got a chance to
talk to him. Thunda said he was unaware that Corino was in fact Mr Wrestling
3 the entire time, and he wasn't pleased with that fact considering Steve
Corino is the man who took the North American title from him. Corino then
played good cop and claimed if Thunda ever got a title shot he would gladly
give it to him. After Corino's victory over Landell, the champion refused
to shake Thunda's hand. Thunda got upset and walked out, while Corino claimed
it was merely a joke.
Super Sweet introduces a new championship
Last month Super Sweet found the old Hardcore title in the dumpster and
seemingly had an epiphany. At International Incident he unveiled his master
plan. Sweet introduced what he called, "The People's Choice" Championship.
The idea he proposed was that the champion would lay out 3 matches and the
fans would be allowed to pick which one they would like to see that evening.
While B4W has chosen not to recognize the title at this time, we will allow
Sweet to govern the championship as he sees fit.
