Repercussion 2008 results

October 11th 2008

B4W returned to Morganville NJ, to Present Repercussion. Due to a last minute change, World champion "Mr Wrestling 3" was unable to defend his title against Kid America. However, the new President of B4W set up a huge match in its place. Greg Spitz defending his North American title against his rival Kid America in the main event.

The show began with a match for the B4W tag team titles as Jihad and Chemical Khan defended their titles against the ever popular team of Super Sweet and TLD.

Prior to the match even starting, the new President of B4W made his way out to ringside. We would learn that man was in fact, Richard P Guille. Guille stated his act as President was to give his friend and client Denver Street as shot at the tag champions later in the night!

After much back and forth action, a simple case of miscommunication led to Chemical Khan being rolled up for the three count by Super Sweet, earning him and his friend TLD the tag team titles.

Jihad, completely irate, sat in the ring, promising to sit there until he got another opponent, someone he could "hurt." He vowed to sit there, "all night long," if he had too. Teddy Fine made his way out and the two went toe to toe for several minutes.

Teddy Fine, the Brookwood Bash 2008 winner, was able to get himself a victory over Jihad, further infuriating the Iraqi warrior.

Next up was the first ever defense of the World Wrestling Alliance International Heavyweight title by champion Jake Manning. The WWA-I is a collection of promotions including PWS in North Carolina, 3K Wrestling in Pennsylvania, the WWC in Puerto Rico and B4W in NJ.

Manning would begin his title reign against Alex Anthony (formally known as Alex Balboa) and Sean Haze. As Anthony locked in a version of the cloverleaf on Haze, Manning locked in a choke hold forcing Haze to tap out. The ref seeing Manning and the tapout awarded the match to "The Man Scout" Jake Manning earning him his first successful defense.

Next up would be the first defense for the new Tag Team champions, and their second match of the evening for Super Sweet and TLD. Denver Street's mystery partner did not come out, and the match began. As Super Sweet and Street were about to lock up, TLD snuck behind his partner and low blowed him. It was then announced by President Richard P Guille that Street's partner was in fact, TLD. Street and TLD would easily win the match after that and take the titles, reforming the obnoxious Inner Circle leaving the fans furious.

In a continuation of the best of seven series the Modern Militia (1 win) would once again take on the Neighborhood Make Believers (1 win). This time, however, officials entered Mike Lee and Caleb Konley (PWS) into the match with the stipulation that if they were to get the pinfall, the team they defeated would lose one point in the series. That would not be the case, however, as Kevin Rogers and Ryan McFeely were able to sneak in a victory, putting them 2-1 in the series over the Modern Militia and one step closer to a tag team title shot.

GPS and Ricky Reyes have been trying to defeat one another for the last few months. But after constant draws and non-finishes, the officials in B4W decided to make this a 2 out of 3 falls match to guarantee a winner. We got just that, as GPS was able to get the victory over Ricky Reyes after an awesome back and forth pure wrestling contest.

The main event of the evening saw the North American Greg Spitz taking on the American hero Kid America, in a classic match, the kind you don't see these days. Greg Spitz pulled out every trick in the book but even that could not take down Kid America. It was clear this night belonged to Kid America as he took the win, and the North American title as the fans celebrated in the ring afterwards.
