WORLD-1 weekend update

President Mike Kehner is expected to announce upcoming matches for WORLD-1’s return to Jackson NJ, later this week!

Already signed:

WORLD-1 title match
“The Beast” Chris Rockwell Vs “Ruthless” Ryan Sawyer
Champion Chris Rockwell has been on a tear since debuting in WORLD-1 last year. Instantly capturing the WORLD-1 Tag Team titles, and later the 3K Openweight title and even winning the Collision Cup. The same can be said for Sawyer, who captured the WORLD-1 Tag Team titles and unifed the B4W/3K titles.  Sawyer won the ultimate prize by defeating three other men in one night to win the 2009 Shinya Hashimoto memorial tournament.

With his defeat last month, of former champion Steve Corino, Sawyer earned the right to go after the WORLD-1 champion, Chris Rockwell. Team Symbol representative Richard Guille has promised a statement from Rockwell shortly.

Alex Anthony gets his rematch
Former North American champion Alex Anthony will get his rematch for the North American title, next month at TWA’s Adopt a Pet event. TWA officials have signed Ricky Reyes to defend the North American gold, against his rival Alex Anthony, and if the match is anything like their previous encounter you will not want to miss it!

Also appearing at the TWA event from BLKFriday, will be the monster Shane Harris, who will have his hands full against the experienced Breaker Morant.

At WORLD-1’s State of Emergency, there was an “invasion” from TWA as Hitman Tony Stetson came after the current TWA champion, Steve Corino and Rob Dimension.
