W-1 President Comments On Possible W-1/Dragon Gate Confusion

Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 President Mike Kehner issued a statement regarding the Dragon Gate “WORLD-1 presents The World Is One” event on October 13 in Tokyo, Japan at Shin-Kiba’s 1st Ring.

official “We received a few emails from fans asking if our Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 and the WORLD-1 running an event in Japan were the same company. I just wanted to clarify that it is much different. WORLD-1 is our company name, while WORLD-1 in Dragon Gate is a faction of pro-wrestlers including Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino, BxB Hulk, and Naoki Tanisaki. The WORLD-1 faction has nothing to do with our W-1 promotion. They will be producing their own event (and I am sure future events) through Dragon Gate.

I hope that fans were not confused.  Dragon Gate is an amazing promotion that has recently broke into the US market with exciting events that left fans wanting for more. We here at W-1 (the company) are looking forward to their next US event on November 28 at The Arena in South Philadelphia. We urge you not only to attend but to visit their website at www.DGUSA.tv.

Thank you

Mike Kehner

President, Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1″

Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 retains a very close business relationship with Pro-Wrestling ZERO1 in Japan and we will have some big announcements about ZERO1 involvement in W-1 for the end of 2009 and a huge impact in 2010.

————————————-

Notes from W-1 Repercussions:

Rob Dimension bragging about having the “Ultimate Rumble” in the bag almost came true when Sean Haze and Alex Anthony eliminated each other, leaving The Monster C as the sole survivor. Or so they thought…Roxie Cotton had been thrown out of the ring between the second and third ropes and while Dimension unmasked The Monster C to reveal Steve Corino, Cotton entered the ring and dropkicked Corino over the top rope to win the match!

The ongoing problems between North American champion Alex Anthony and Sean Haze escalated at Repercussions when nothing seemed to go right for the two friends. Haze dropped a fall to Ruthless Ryan Sawyer and then while helping Anthony fight against Greg Spitz and Guillotine LeGrande, he ended up getting Anthony disqualified.

Both men say that the friendship is not in jeopardy but insiders have said that they don’t even hang out anymore and Haze dearly wants to be the North American champion.  We are going to get exclusive comments from both Anthony and Haze on this matter right here on WORLD1Online.com.

Kevin Payne made a very successful return from a broken leg that kept him out of action for four months by defeating Greg Spitz not only once, not only twice, but three times in one night!  The Morganville fans cheered for Payne’s return and he looked in even better shape then he was when he was injured.

Spitz was his cocky self and even though his stroke of bad luck lasted one match plus two improtpu matches, he said that he will once again rise to the top of W-1 and even announced that he will reform his Beauty & The Butcher tag team with Mr. Mark Mest in November. Spitz and Mest held the WORLD-1 tag team titles in 2005-06.

The ongoing battle between Payne and Ruthless Ryan Sawyer kept at a fever pace when Saywer interfered in Payne’s match and then Payne stopped Sawyer from interfering in the North American title match.  Payne told W-1 TV and WORLD1Online.com that the time has come and challenged Sawyer one on one. Kevin is going to BRING THE PAYNE!

The rage of Damian Dragon continued as he battle the man that disrespected his wife in August, Reiko DMF.  But it was Dragon’s rage that ended costing him the fall when manager, Richard Guille hit Dragon with his briefcase.

Dragon’s wife, Veronica, stayed home on Saturday night at the request of her husband but she contacted WORLD1Online.com this morning by email and said that she will be there next time and that if Guille gets involved there is going to be big trouble.  The Dragon family has a huge future in W-1!

The team of GPS and The Beast, although not successful in their first W-1 attempt, have taken W-1 by storm with their popularity!  The scheduled singles match between Chris Rockwell and The Beast did not last too long before Richard Guille got involved to make it 2 on 1.  But Beast’s friend GPS made a save and then ended up turning back the challenge of Symbol much to the delight of the fans.

The Beast and GPS have asked for another shot at the W-1 tag team titles but Richard Guille said that there is no way that Tommy Thunda and Chris Rockwell will defend the titles against them.  Let’s see what President Mike Kehner has to say about this.

2009 Shinya Hashimoto Memorial tournament winner Ruthless Ryan Sawyer continued his winning ways by pinning Sean Haze in a great match between the future of W-1.  Can anyone stop Ruthless Ryan Sawyer?

North American champion Alex Anthony was disqualified when he faced WWC’s Chuck Guillotine LeGrande but there is MUCH more to the whole story.  It was revealed that LeGrande is the advisor to Ryan Sawyer and Sawyer even tried to interfere in the match but was stopped by Kevin Payne. Then Greg Spitz tried to interfere but was stopped by Sean Haze. Unfortunitely senior referee John Finnegan saw Haze in the ring and disqualified the champion.

LeGrande told W-1 TV that he will be back soon and that he will advise Saywer from afar and watch him win both the North American and WORLD-1 titles by the time that the 2010 Shinya Hashimoto Memorial tournament takes place.

In the main event, Steve Corino managed by Rob Dimension was challenged by women’s star Roxie Cotton.  Cotton even the odds when she brought her “special” friend Super Sweet to ringside.

Although Corino is a 15 year pro and current W-1 champion, Cotton held a huge psychological edge over Corino and it wasn’t until she missed a diving senton that she succumbed to the Sliding C Special.

After the match, Corino left in a huff but Dimension didn’t. Dimension got all over the courageous Cotton with insults and mistakenly thought Corino was still in the ring.  Cotton ended up leaving Dimension laying!

VPW’s Funky Fresh Boyz debuted in the Ultimate Rumble and were very impressive, even eliminating 1/2 of the W-1 tag team champions Chris Rockwell. They will return to W-1 in the very near future.

Stay tuned this Tuesday as Mike Kehner makes a huge announcement regarding W-1’s return to Neptune in November!

THIS SATURDAY!!!! W-1 in Morganville.

Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 returns to Langan Baseball Arena in Morganville, NJ this Saturday, September 26 with a 7:30PM Belltime.

1. Ultimate Rumble!  13 fighters will compete to earn a shot at the WORLD-1 heavyweight title in the main event. Elimination is by either over the top rope or by pinfall.

Already entered: The Monster C., GPS, Alex Anthony, The Funky Fresh Boy (VPW), Damian Dragon, Roxie Cotton, Sean Haze, Team Symbol’s Chris Rockwell and Reiko DMF, Super Sweet, Denver Street, and one wildcard entry.

2. Kevin Payne’s Return Match: Kevin Payne vs. Dark Horse Greg Spitz (Freebird).

Kevin Payne has been out of W-1 since breaking his leg after being turned on by former partner Ryan Sawyer.  During the last two W-1 events, Payne has gotten involved physically with Sawyer and wants a one on one match with him but W-1 President Mike Kehner announced that Payne’s return match with the most hated man in WORLD-1 Greg Spitz.

“I know that Kevin Payne wants his chance for revenge but as president I do not want Kevin thinking with his heart and not with his head. Wrestling a veteran like Greg Spitz, Kevin will know for sure if his leg is 100%.” said President Kehner.

3. 2009 Hashimoto Tournament winner Ryan Sawyer vs. Sean Haze

Two of the young stars of W-1 clash for the first time as the always impressive Sean Haze takes on the winner of the 2009 Shinya Hashimoto Tournament Ruthless Ryan Sawyer.

Fans have written in suggesting that this match will be the first of many between these two great athletes.

4. Grudge Match: Damian Dragon (WOW) w/Veronica Dragon vs. Reiko DMF (Team Symbol) w/Richard Guille

At the Hashimoto Memorial show Reiko DMF not only disrespected Foxxy Foxx with his actions, he lit a flame under Damian Dragon by putting his hands on Foxx, who we discovered after is his real life wife.

“Wrestling is a business and both of us understand the dangers and sacrifices.” said Damian Dragon exclusive to WORLD1Online.com. “Reiko and Foxx had already won the match but he went too far when he put his hands on her. That is when Damian Dragon the wrestler stops and Damian Dragon the man and husband takes action. Saturday night Reiko and any of the other members of Team Symbol that want to get involved, they are all going down!”

5. One On One Challenge: The Beast (B4W) vs. Chris Rockwell (Team Symbol) w/Richard Guille

W-1 most popular wrestler The Beast goes one on one with 1/2 of the WORLD-1 tag team champions Chris Rockwell.  Team Symbol (which we have not found out the story on their name) announced that they would not grant another tag team title match against The Beast and GPS after they turned back their challenge on August 28.

With Tommy Thunda mysteriously not on the card how will this play in the favor of The Beast? Or is the set up in and Rockwell, Thunda, and Reiko will unite to injury The Beast?

6. North American title: Alex Anthony (B4W) (c) vs. Chuck Guillotine LeGrande (WWC)

As reported on WORLD1Online.com, Erico and LeGrande swapped North American title contracts and with less then 24 hours notice, Alex Anthony will defend the title against LeGrande.

Anthony is about to celebrate his 6th month with the North American honors with a successful defense but will the cunningness of LeGrande take Anthony off his game?

7. WORLD-1 Heavyweight title, V2 defense: Steve Corino (c) w/Rob Dimension vs. Winner Of Ultimate Rumble

Corino will have to watch the Ultimate Rumble closely to scout his opponent for the night.

A match like this is very dangerous for the defending champion. Just the adrenaline  that runs through the winner of the Ultimate Rumble could be that extra advantage the challenger will have.

Corino has already stated that he would like to defend the title against Ricky Reyes on Sunday, November 22 but said that he is focused for Saturday night.

“Every title defense is important. You don’t want to take anyone lightly but Dimension already told me how this was going to go and I will tell you now that The Monster C will be the winner and then my second defense will be my easiest.” said that champion Corino.

Tickets are only $12 at the door to witness this fun night of professional wrestling.

You can by tickets up until belltime right at Langan Baseball, 712 Ginesi Drive in Morganville, NJ.

Breaking News: Guillotine LeGrande To Challenge Alex Anthony This Saturday!!!

WWC’s “Mr. Mac” Chuck Guillotine LeGrande and PPW Worldwide champion Erico made a deal that only two evil men could make.

LeGrande held a contract to wrestle for W-1 on November 22 while Erico held a contract to wrestle on Saturday. LeGrande offered Erico a cash (not disclosed) offer plus an agreement that if LeGrande does become the North American champion, Erico would get the first shot on Sunday, November 22.legrande

So now at Repercussions it will be Alex Anthony defending the North American title against Chuck Guillotine LeGrande!

“Anthony thinks that he is smart but lets face, he is a dope. A total moron. Buying the contract from Erico was just the mental edge I needed to win the North American title.” said LeGrande.

4. Rob Dimension’s Monster C

5. Damian Dragon

7. Team Symbol’s Reiko DMF

8. North American champion Alex Anthony

10. 2009 Hashimoto Tournament winner Ryan Sawyer

11. Kevin Payne

13. Roxxie Cotton

Roxxie Cotton shocked everyone at W-1 when she said that she wanted to be a part of this match.  Rob Dimension immediately protested to Mike Kehner. Below is his letter. W-1 warns its fans that Mr. Dimension’s letter is unedited and NOT endorsed by anyone in the W-1 locker room.

“Dear President S*#t For Brains Kehner,

How dare you put a woman in the Ultimate Rumble Match? I mean, how stupid are you? I really think that you take this WORLD-1 president position to bed with you every night and make love to it.  You are a complete moron. I hate you. Why in the heck would you allow Roxxie Cotton, of all stinky women, compete in such an important match?  She is a woman you ra-tard.

You are so lucky that you are just the president because if you were wrestling I would smack you right in the mouth. Right in the mouth! But I will promise this you big headed nerd, if Roxxie even comes close to my main man The Monster C, I will tell him to beat her like a man should beat his woman. In fact I may even let C go on a date with Cotton after she begs for mercy.  That will be on your hands Weiner Kehner. Your hands. I hate you so much.

And warn the rest of the locker room that I am the manager of the champion and anyone that wins this match is going to go down in defeat because Corino does not lose when I am in his corner. Anthony, Beast, and especially that drugged up goof ball Super Sweet will get a pounding if they win.

Repercussions are sure going to happen.

I hate you.

Sincerely not queerly,

Rob Dimension, ESQ.

Certified Genius”

We here at W-1 would hope that one day someone would shut Mr. Dimension up!

FROM THE DESK OF DIMENSION FOR SEPTEMBER 1

dimension***The views expressed by Mr. Dimension are those of his own and do not reflect the wrestlers or officials of Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1.***

As I sit at my desk, I am dealing with mixed feelings. On one hand, I represent the World 1 Heavyweight Champion, Steve Corino who has proven time and time again why he truly is Mr. Wrestling by defeating any and all comers within the World 1 ranks. Yet, I am at the same time I am dealing with displeasure.

This past weekend during the second round of the Shinya Hashimoto Memorial event, was given a loss due to unforeseen events beyond Mr. Corino’s or my control. This does happen occasionally in our great sport but when the Champion is within the confines of the squared circle, other competitors should stand on the outside and enjoy the exhibition. Our match was rudely interrupted by Kevin Payne attacking Ruthless Ryan Sawyer. Now, I have never had any problems with Mr. Payne, but this puts a damper on things since his actions cost Mr. Corino a chance to pay homage to his former mentor and boss Shinya Hashimoto.

Speaking of Ryan Sawyer, I am no stranger to the feeling of hatred amongst my peers. Jealously tends to get the best of many, but Ryan is really hated within the inner workings of World 1. For such a young man, to have so many enemies at such an early stage of one’s career is a tall task to overcome. I must admit, several weeks ago, Ryan Sawyer mouthed off to me and I quickly told Mr. Corino about it. He was lucky I am still dealing with a sprained right index finger or maybe things would have been settled like men.

What else I witnessed this past Friday was unique in Pro Wrestling. In fact, I have never been a part of something so odd, yet gratifying at the same time. In the final match between Alex Anthony and Ryan Sawyer, many within the locker room felt that it was appropriate to be ringside for the finals and help motivate Alex Anthony. I may not like Anthony personally, but within the ring, he does have heart. His effort came up short, submitting to Sawyer’s King Cobra, but he made an amazing effort. Mr. Corino has told me numerous times of late about his respect for Anthony, but I still don’t care for him.

Who did impress me? Damian Dragon. I refuse to call him “Simply the Best”, a title that he no doubt made up for himself. Dragon represented Warriors of Wrestling, a rowdy group based out of North Jersey that were in attendance and vocal about their admiration for the young Dragon. Mr. Wrestling and myself made it a point to make our intentions known and stop their celebration by defeating Dragon in a solid pinfall via the C Slider. His effort did not go unnoticed, he has desire, a look in his eyes and a good combination of mat wrestling and high flying. He will be a welcomed addition to the World 1 ranks, although not really welcomed by me. I have a feeling that we will see each other soon.

Up next for World 1 will be “Repercussions” on September 26th, with a 7:30pm belltime. What will happen at the Langan Baseball Arena in Morganville, NJ that night? Not sure. I have been on the phone the last two days with the World 1 office trying to find out what they have in front of Mr. Wrestling but was told that details will be released on September 8th. This is a cheap effort to keep the Champion off his game, little do they know how hard Mr. Corino trains. I will educate and enlighten you again soon.

Sincerely not queerly,

Rob Dimension                                                                                                                             Certified Genius
