Rockwell Wants Corino’s Tag Titles, Makes Challenge For 9/12!

WORLD-1 CHAMPION ROCKWELL WANTS THE CORINO’S TAG TEAM TITLES!

The ever-cocky, but dominating, WORLD-1 heavyweight champion Chris Rockwell is on a roll. Although fans hate when he tells him that 2010 was “The Rise Of Rockwell”, no truer words can be said.

In January he utterly destroyed the former Beast, Ozzie Canada, in less then two minutes to win the W-1 heavyweight title. Never before has a title changed so quick in WORLD-1. But over the course of six months, what was considered a possible fluke has produced the best WORLD-1 champion of all time.

“That’s right morons.” said the 5th W-1 champion since 2004, “Tanaka has been challenged but yet to accept. I know he speaks English. Coward is a word he understand. Then Landell? I don’t even know who that is. Corino? Oh I’ll get to him. And The Beast? I ran through that fat turd quicker then the burger he just ate. I am the best WORLD-1 champion of all time.”

When WORLD1Online.com’s Curt Lemon asked Rockwell to elaborate on Steve Corino and the champion hit the roof!

“He sucks. He’s fat and he’s old. I kicked the dog crap out of his punk kid and now he thinks he is next in line for a shot? I don’t think so. Corino is only pretending to like the cheer of the fans. He is a low down, dirty, egg-sucking, liar. He hates the fans. Hates them more I do. Don’t cheer for him. Cheer for a true hero. The guy that leads Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 with dignity. Me. Chris Rockwell.”

And he wasn’t done!

“You know, the WORLD-1 fans are stupid. They are. They should be cheering for their champion. What do I have to do to prove to you people that I am the King of this castle? I know. I need to be both the W-1 champion AND tag team champion. Here is a challenge to the mom and daughter team of the Corino’s. Defend the W-1 tag team titles on September 12. I will bring a partner of my choosing. In fact the new member of Symbol will be revealed. Denver Street, the evil genius that he is, and I found our guy. Defend those belts cowards.”

WORLD1Online.com caught Colby Corino on his Twitter @CCorino and asked him if the challenge was accepted.

“Yes it has Curt. Pres Kehner gave us the go ahead today. We will win!”

New WORLD-1 Womens Champion! Danger Reigns Supreme,

Symbol Helps???

This past Sunday in Carteret, North Carolina, Allison Danger defeated Roxie Cotton to become the 6th Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 Womens champion.

But it was the presence of Chris Rockwell that was shocking, considering he was not even scheduled for the event. And with Rockwell cohorts Team Symbol in a war with Colby and Steve Corino, it was interesting to most W-1 fans why he would help Steve’s sister.

“A win is a win is a win, right big brother.” said the new champion, Allison Danger, when asked what her brother would think of her tactics during the match. “Don’t believe this crap that he is all goody two shoes. Colby, yes. He’s a good kid but my brother would cut the throat of anyone if it meant winning a title.”

Steve Corino, who will team with Colby Corino and Roxie Cotton on September 12 in Jackson, NJ, would not comment.

The former champion Roxie Cotton was down about the loss but said she will fight back. “I gave Danger two chances but all I need is one. Come on back to Jersey and be a fighting champion.”

President Kehner said that he was OK with the title change due to the fact that Rockwell did not physically get involved with the contest but warned that Rockwell and every member of Team Symbol is being watched.

Allison Danger is the first two-time champion and 6th overall. Below is a quick history of the W-1 Womens title. Thank you to www.Wrestling-Titles.com for the constant updates on title changes.

COTTON-DANGER II This Weekend In NC!

adanger2cotton COTTON-DANGER II IN NORTH CAROLINA

On February 28, Roxie Cotton successfully defended the WORLD-1 Women’s championship against former champion Allison Danger in Jackson, NJ. Now after two more successful defenses against Tina San Antonio and Marti Belle, the popular champion travels to North Carolina to make her fourth defense.

“Being the W-1 Womens champion is a huge honor. This belt not only is defended in WORLD-1 but was a mainstay of the Pro-Wrestling SUN promotion in Japan a few years back. By defeating Danger again I can prove that I am among the best. After this defense I am hoping that Amazing Kong will accept my nomination as the next contender!” said Roxie Cotton.

Allison Danger was not so nice: “I hate Roxie Cotton. Little nerd. When she beat me in February, it was only because I was sick. I had a 110 fever. I shouldn’t have been out there. She took advantage of me. This time I am going to show her that I am the best woman wrestler in the WORLD. WORLD Cotton, WORLD. Not New Jersey but the freaking WORLD.”

President Mike Kehner did acknowledge that Ms. Danger was under the weather for their February match but not to the extent that Allison Danger complained.

“Allison Danger did complain before the match about not being 100%. She was given the option of postponing the title match but said no. After our ring physician, Dr. Farve, examined Ms. Danger he concluded that she was OK to wrestle. I granted Allison Danger this return title match due to her complaints and Roxie Cotton being a fighting champion. Ms. Cotton accepted the title match.

HASHIMOTO LEGACY CUP DATES ANNOUNCED! HUGE NEWS…

hashimoto-shinyaHASHIMOTO TOURNAMENT ANNOUNCED! LEGACY CUP NEWS!

Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 is pleased to announce the 3rd annual Shinya Hashimoto Memorial Tournament combing with the old Premier Wrestling Federation “Legacy Cup” will take place over three events and feature a Japanese style of rules.

In 2008, 3KWrestling (now combined with B4W make up Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1) sponsored the first Hashimoto Tournament in Limerick, PA and saw Ricky Reyes outlast former ROH and ECW World champion Jerry Lynn to win an exciting tournament.

In 2009, 18 year old Ruthless Ryan Sawyer defeated Australia’s Craven, then-WORLD-1 champion Steve Corino, and then-North American champion Alex Anthony, to become the second winner.

In 2010 the rules have changed! This year, Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 will spread the tournament over three events (Dates Below) and will use the point system to determine the winners of the A-Block and B-Block. Eight wrestlers will be split into two groups, A-Block and B-Block. Two points will be awarded for each win by pinfall or submission. One point will be awarded for a Draw, Double Countout, or Double Disqualification. Zero points for a loss.

Former PWF co-owner Bryan Reigel has announced that he would become involved with the WORLD-1 promotion after a five year absence recently and has given his blessing to award the Legacy Cup to the winner of the Hashimoto Tournament.

The 2001 Legacy Cup saw Johnny Kashmere win a one night tournament defeating Christopher Daniels in the finals. The following year, “The Fallen Angel” returned and this time won the tournament defeating The Amazing Red. The object of winning the Legacy Cup is to create your own LEGACY. Both Mr. Reigel and President Kehner felt that Shinya Hashimoto’s legacy is one that young wrestlers should strive to follow and the combining of the history of the PWF to Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 is a natural one.

Wrestlers already announced for this tournament are:
1. Ruthless Ryan Sawyer (representing W-1, 2009 Hashimoto Tournament winner)
2. Damian Dragon (representing W-1, 2nd Hashimoto Tournament)
3. Original Monster C (representing ZERO1)
4. Kid America (representing TWA)
5. Adam Cole (representing CZW)
6. X
7. X
8. X

Spots six, seven, and eight will be announced on Monday, July 19 by President Kehner. Block formations will be announced.

W-1 fan favorite Super Sweet has asked to be in the Hashimoto Legacy Cup!

President Kehner told www.WORLD1Online.com that Super Sweet will wrestle The Monster C in a determination match with the winner getting the number six spot. But wait, aren’t The Monster C and Orginal Monster C the same person?

“That is a question that I had to research. The Monster C in WORLD-1 is a part of Rob Dimension’s stable. Long rumored to be Steve Corino, I have personally seen The Monster C be different shapes and sizes over the last two years. Original Monster C has been sent to Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 by Pro-Wrestling ZERO1 Vice President Yoshiyuki Nakamura.”

President Kehner also announced the dates and location of the Hashimoto Legacy Cup.
All matches will take place at our home base, the Knights of Columbus, 401 Bartley Road in Jackson, NJ
